Main Purpose of Job:
As a Trading Card Specialist & Administrator you will be the driving force behind the trading card category in Singapore - winning consignments, developing the local market and bringing key buyers and sellers to our auctions - while also providing the cataloguing and administrative support that vendors and buyers rely on before and after each sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source and win consignments of trading cards, building and leveraging a network of consignors, collectors and dealers across Singapore and Asia Pacific
- Develop and grow the local market as the face of the trading card category in Singapore, representing the business at fairs, events and major exhibitions
- Identify key buyers and sellers, building long-term relationships that drive bidding activity and repeat consignments
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and market values in the trading card industry
- Catalogue consigned items to a high standard of accuracy and consistency, ensuring descriptions, condition notes and estimates adhere to company standards
- Provide general administrative support to vendors and buyers pre- and post-auction, including consignment paperwork, correspondence, settlements and shipping queries
- Customer database management - Updating preferences, merging and general maintenance.
- Working with the wider Entertainment team, based in London
- Assisting and providing back up support for all administrative duties as and when needed
- Undertake any other reasonable requests as required by Management

Personal Specification:
- Commercially driven and self-motivated, with a genuine passion for trading cards and collectables
- Keen attention to detail
- You have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to seek out consignments. Motivated by success of Auctions and sales.

Skills Required:
- Experience in the trading card market - buying, selling, valuing or consigning trading cards or similar collectables - would be essential
- An established network of collectors, dealers and consignors in Singapore and/or Asia Pacific would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of industry-standard grading
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using a computer and basic software, such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
