Are you a passionate retail leader looking for your next challenge?
We're seeking an experienced Trading Execution Manager to join our Retail Operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you'll work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of trading plans and operational priorities across our stores.
About the Role
This newly created role will play a critical part in connecting our Buying, Merchandising and Retail Operations teams, ensuring commercial decisions are translated into exceptional execution across our store estate. As the bridge between Support Centre and Stores, you'll use your operational expertise and deep understanding of operations to ensure seamless implementation and execution in stores.
Based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool, three days a week, this is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience while helping shape how B&M brings its commercial strategy to life.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the key liaison between Buying, Merchandising and Retail Operations teams.
- Ensuring commercial decisions are translated into clear, effective and deliverable plans for stores.
- Representing the store perspective within category reviews, trading meetings and commercial planning sessions.
- Providing operational insight into ranging, allocation, seasonal events and promotional activity.
- Creating visibility across functions on what products are being bought, projected volumes and store allocation strategies.
- Supporting the successful execution of new product launches, seasonal programmes and trading initiatives across the estate.
- Identifying operational risks and implementation challenges early, working collaboratively to deliver solutions.
- Gathering feedback from stores and translating operational insight into actionable recommendations for Commercial teams.
- Ensuring communication between Support Centre and stores is clear, timely and effective.
- Working closely with stakeholders to improve availability, stock flow and execution standards.
- Driving continuous improvement in how Commercial and Operations teams work together to deliver a great customer experience.
- Supporting key projects that improve trading performance, operational efficiency and store readiness.

The Skills & Experience You'll Bring
- A successful Store Manager with a strong track record of delivering operational and commercial results.
- Excellent understanding of store operations, merchandising standards and stock management processes.
- Strong commercial awareness with an interest in Buying, Merchandising and Trading.
- The ability to influence and build relationships across multiple functions and levels of the business.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge constructively where required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate operational challenges into practical solutions.
- Passion for delivering great execution and ensuring stores are set up for success.
