Bloom & Wild Overview
Hi, we’re Bloom & Wild. We don’t just send flowers. We help our customers to care wildly. Caring wildly is celebrating the little things we all do for each other every day. Not just the big occasions. It’s being there for the highs. Stepping up for the lows.
We care wildly about people and our planet. Which is why we’re so proud to be a certified B Corp™ – committed to making long-term positive change for our community, and the world around us.
Founded in 2013, our mission back then was to make sending and receiving flowers the joy that it should be, by harnessing technology, brand and letterbox delivery. We announced £75 million Series D funding in 2021 and that same year acquired bloomon in The Netherlands and Bergamotte in France. Together, we’ve fulfilled and delivered over 20 million orders (and counting!), making us the largest direct to consumer flower business in Europe.
Now home to a family of 3 beautiful brands, we’re driven by our vision to create the destination for making life a little more thoughtful and beautiful. And we won't stop at flowers and plants. Starting with the Bloom & Wild brand, we're expanding our gifting offering to other categories like cakes, candles and cocktails. This is all part of our ambition to build Europe's #1 direct to consumer gifting destination.
🛠️ Commercial Team @ Bloom & Wild Group
Our team cares wildly about delivering ambitious and profitable growth across all of our seven markets and three brands. We’re firmly focused on growing profitably, whilst also keeping an eye on the long term commercial view, and our wider business goals, in everything that we do.
This may sound like a cliché, but we really are a bunch of fast-thinking problem-solvers. Think Deeply, Act Swiftly really comes into play in our team. Our Slack channels are full of threads of our team coming together to solve a problem, sharing knowledge and resources, and all working together for our shared mission. We know where we’re headed, and we’re all ready to jump in to support each other to get there. We develop our commercial strategy whilst managing day to day trading to have full country or category oversight.
We’re a distributed team, and we currently have team members all across Europe & the UK! This role is based in our London office with an expectation of being in the office 2 days a week, with full office presence and travelling to our Amsterdam office over peak timings. We work very frequently with almost all other functions across the business, so we’re really proud of our ability to collaborate effectively and are always looking for ways to connect and work together; making use of both our virtual tools and our lovely offices. We come together as a full team once a year in either London or Amsterdam for a team offsite, and throughout the rest of the year we gather in our respective country teams as frequently as we can!
⚙️ What you'll be doing:
Reporting to our Country Director Germany & Austria, you'll own the trading function for Germany, one of our most important growth markets. You'll make sure we have the right stock every day, sell it to forecast and keep waste to a minimum. You'll also hold the pen on site pricing and make sure our website is set up to convert. You'll work across teams in a matrix structure, alongside our operations, central planning, range and product design teams, and play a key role in delivering our biggest peaks: Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. It's a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same and you can make an impact from day one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Stock and forecasting:
- Managing our day-to-day and week-to-week stock position with our central planning, flower buying and operations teams, keeping availability strong and balancing supply when there are shifts in demand and customer preferences.

- Feeding into our longer-term forecasts, using customer insight and market context to decide where we grow specific SKUs and products.
Pricing and range:
- Holding the pen on site pricing, finding the right balance between selling price and margin, based on understanding of the overall product cost structure.
- Working closely with the range team on bestsellers, market needs and pricing architecture to ensure we’ve got a range of gifts priced for all customer’s shopping missions.
On-site experience:
- Owning the on-site experience, using stock levels, product naming and product ordering to grow or rebalance customer demand as needed.
- Making sure the right demand drivers are visible, and running the right tests for where the market is today.
- Managing the on-site AB testing roadmap from idea to launch for Germany and working with our BI team's insights to deliver next steps.
Peak trading:
- Preparing for and delivering our peak gifting moments: Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. You'll work with our forecasting and planning team to get order volume and delivery date forecasts as accurate as possible, maximising growth while minimising waste.
Trading:
- Preparing the regular trading meeting agendas and opening each meeting with the market context we need to make decisions across teams.
- Building strong relationships with our in-house operations, central planning, range and product design teams.
- Working with our UK and Netherlands trading teams and supporting trading in other markets.
AI and automation:
- Building and embedding AI tools and agents into our day-to-day trading, from automating daily forecasting inputs to spotting emerging trends in customer demand, so we can make faster, better-informed decisions.
