Key Responsibilities
The Trading Operator will collaborate closely with traders and blenders to ensure the coordination of logistics at a key EU blending facility. This role involves building strong working relationships with:
- Internal stakeholders: trading team members, refinery coordinators, analysts
- External partners: terminal operators, surveyors, and counterparties
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to:
- Multi-task
- Prioritise effectively
- Work collaboratively as a team
Detailed Responsibilities
- Work with third-party operators to ensure precise scheduling and execution of:
- (i) Tank-to-tank moves within the terminal
- (ii) Movements into and out of the terminal, including logistics for internal and external customers across:
- Barges
- Vessels
- Pipelines
- Rail

Develop asset monetisation strategies in collaboration with the trading team, including:
- Product blending opportunities
- Production sources
- Flexible contracts negotiation
- Storage and pipeline management
- Receiving terminal optimisation

Identify and execute local operational improvements to balance supply and demand at blending terminals

Provide accurate and timely data to:
- Traders
- Blenders
- Risk control
- Senior management
- Address any follow-up requirements promptly
Job Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Holds a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Boasts at least 8 years of experience in trading-adjacent scheduling, with expertise in:
- Crude oil
- LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas)
- Fuels products
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of:
- Petroleum component composition
- Finished product specifications
- Bulk liquid logistics
- Terminal operations

- Proactively manage stakeholder relationships
