Join a fast-paced Prime Finance trading support team where accuracy, controls, and partnership with the Front Office are critical to daily outcomes. In this role, you will help ensure trades are reflected correctly in risk management systems, manage key controls, and resolve exceptions across the trade lifecycle. You will work closely with trading, product partners, and global operations teams while contributing to process improvements and automation. As a Trading Services Associate in Prime Finance Trading Services (Equities), you will support the equity business by ensuring trades are executed and accurately represented in risk management systems. You will perform start-of-day and end-of-day controls, manage trade capture and reporting exceptions, and coordinate with Front Office and operations partners to resolve issues. You will also support trade lifecycle events and contribute to control enhancements, root cause analysis, and operational improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all executed trades are captured completely and accurately in risk management systems
- Perform core start-of-day and end-of-day controls to confirm risk is represented accurately for the Front Office
- Investigate, verify, resolve, and escalate trade capture and reporting exceptions in a timely manner
- Partner with Front Office and operations teams to resolve trade-related issues across the lifecycle
- Coordinate with key stakeholder groups including Product Control, Sales, Sales Support, Cash and Derivatives Settlements, Client Services, Reconciliations, Technology, and Business Management
- Manage trade lifecycle events such as expiries, dividends, and corporate actions, ensuring accurate processing and documentation
- Maintain and improve the pre-trade and post-trade controls environment, supporting control integrity and operational discipline
- Drive higher straight-through processing through tactical problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Produce analysis and reporting for trading desks and senior management to support decision-making
- Contribute to projects and initiatives including regulatory deliverables, operational programs, and industry-wide change

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Previous experience in a trading support, operations, or front-office aligned role
- Strong knowledge of equity and derivatives products, including Equity Swaps, Cash Equities, and related trading workflows
- Understanding of corporate actions and trade lifecycle processing requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement improvements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with a control-focused mindset and clear ownership of deliverables
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong PC skills, including advanced Excel and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with risk management systems and trade processing tools
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience supporting Prime Finance and/or hedge fund client businesses
- Experience driving automation or process improvement initiatives in a trading support environment
- Experience producing desk-facing metrics, management information, or operational reporting
