Traffic Controller – Permanent Opportunity
Automotive Site – Coleshill, Birmingham
£28,500 - £33,000 per annum

Pertemps are recruiting experienced Traffic Controllers for a leading automotive company based in Coleshill, Birmingham.
This is a permanent full-time position offering long-term job security following a successful interview. We are looking for confident, proactive individuals who have previous experience controlling vehicle movements and can communicate effectively with drivers and customers on a daily basis.

- Mornings: 05:30 – 14:00
- Afternoons: 13:30 – 22:00
- Nights: 18:00 – 06:00
The Role
- Control and coordinate vehicle movements safely and efficiently
- Manage traffic flow across a busy automotive site
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Resolve issues quickly using initiative and problem-solving skills
- Identify hazards and take proactive action to maintain safe operations
Essential Experience and Skills
- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller / Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Movement Controller is essential
- Experience managing vehicle movements in a busy environment
- Confident dealing with drivers and customers daily
- Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear instructions
- Ability to make quick decisions and remain calm under pressure
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused approach
