Job Description

United Infrastructure Power T&D are seeking an experienced and proactive Traffic Management Lead to coordinate and manage all Streetworks activities. This will be primarily site-based in Alness, Scotland, with flexibility to work from home if required.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all Streetworks permits, notices, access arrangements, and utility asset records are managed in line with project deadlines and statutory requirements. You will act as a central liaison point between clients, Local Authorities, statutory undertakers, and internal project teams, ensuring operational compliance, minimising penalties, and supporting safe and efficient project delivery.

Purpose of the Role

  • Lead the end-to-end management of Streetworks activities from application through to close-out.
  • Ensure all utility prints/asset records are obtained, maintained, and updated for tender and live projects.
  • Support the project teams in achieving safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery aligned with UI T&D and client expectations.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, Local Authorities, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide organisational support across document management, project administration, and programme coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Streetworks & Permit Management

  • Oversee the successful implementation, coordination, and maintenance of all Streetworks permits, notices, and asset records for nationwide projects.
  • Secure and maintain access to statutory undertakers’ systems and portals.
  • Create and maintain a weekly forecast of all live permits and notices, issuing updates to project teams.
  • Proactively identify and resolve Streetworks-related issues to prevent delays, penalties, or compliance breaches.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
