Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour

Job Description:

Job Summary
Experienced Traffic Management Operatives required for projects across Scotland.
In this role you will play a crucial role in assisting with the coordination of the flow of traffic on our projects, helping to ensure that all logistical operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. TM Operatives will drive initiatives aimed at optimising traffic management processes while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Duties include

  • Setting up temporary traffic lights, lane closures as and when required
  • Assisting with road closures and the diversion of traffic
  • Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights as and when required
  • Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required time scales
  • Reporting anything necessary to the site or design team
  • Being able to read and interpret traffic management drawings
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
  • Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS
  • To help with the unloading/loading of materials
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments
  • Reporting plant & vehicle defects

  • Must have Streetworks Qualification (1 day course) minimum
  • Full UK Driving licence

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

Schedule:
Monday to Sunday as required

Work Location: In person as required across Scotland, some stay away work will be required.
