This is a key operational role with responsibility for managing traffic management works from initial client requirements and site meetings through to planning, delivery, and completion.

You will work closely with our clients, planning team, CAD department, supervisors, and traffic management operatives to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the required standard.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of your projects and client requirements, coordinating all aspects of traffic management delivery. You will be expected to:

  • Build strong relationships with clients
  • Understand their requirements
  • Ensure our operational teams have everything they need to deliver the work successfully

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Traffic Management projects from initial enquiry/site meeting through to completion.
  • Liaise directly with clients and provide a professional, responsive service.
  • Carry out site visits and surveys to establish Traffic Management requirements.
  • Coordinate with our CAD team to produce accurate and practical Traffic Management plans.
  • Review plans and job requirements before works are issued to operational teams.
  • Plan labour, vehicles, equipment, and other resources required for each project.
  • Work closely with the planning team, supervisors, and operatives to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide clear and complete job instructions to Traffic Management crews.
  • Monitor live works and respond quickly to operational or client issues.
  • Carry out site audits and ensure works meet company, client, and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Chapter 8, relevant Sector Schemes, and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure completed works are ready for invoicing.
  • Manage changes, cancellations, and additional client requirements effectively.
  • Support the wider operations team during busy periods and out-of-hours requirements where necessary.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
