Working as an extension of our clients' teams, we combine strategy, creativity and execution to develop content and campaigns that engage healthcare professionals, patients and broader stakeholder audiences.
We are looking for a Traffic Manager to own resource planning, workload management and creative workflow across the agency. The person in this role will coordinate and allocate resource across copywriters, designers, content creators and freelance partners, ensuring work is prioritised according to client commitments, commercial value and strategic importance.
Overview
The Traffic Manager is responsible for the smooth, efficient, and compliant flow of all marketing, creative, and content projects across the organisation. Working within the healthcare sector, where accuracy, governance, and timely delivery are critical, the Traffic Manager will work closely with the Copy and Design Lead to coordinate workloads, resources, timelines, and approvals and the COO to ensure we have the right resource at the right costs.

This role acts as the central hub of the team, ensuring that designers, writers, medical reviewers, account handlers, and digital specialists are working in sync. The Traffic Manager keeps projects on track, manages competing priorities, and ensures that work is delivered on time, on brief, and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end workflow of all marketing and creative projects across healthcare accounts, including copy and design related projects.
- Allocate work to designers, copywriters, editors and external suppliers based on capacity and skillset.
- Oversee timelines, schedules and project milestones; ensure deadlines are met.
- Monitor progress daily, identifying bottlenecks and proactively resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate project records including briefs, status updates, and delivery documentation.
- Partner with Client Leads and Project Leads to prioritise tasks and manage resource conflicts.
- Facilitate handovers, kick-off meetings, and production check-ins.
- Support traffic reporting, capacity management, utilisation tracking, workflow forecasting.
- Liaise with external suppliers (printers, freelancers, production houses) to manage outsourced work.

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in traffic, workflow, or project coordination within a marketing agency, creative, or healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of marketing processes, with a desired focus on healthcare marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, assets, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who can challenge timelines, negotiate workloads, and manage expectations.
- Experience with workflow tools or project management systems (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Workfront, Trello).
- Ability to remain calm, solutions-focused, and structured in fast-paced environments.
