Traffic Regulation Orders Officer (Temporary Orders)
We are currently recruiting for a Traffic Regulation Orders Officer (Temporary Orders) to join our team, working to minimise congestion through thorough consideration of suitable temporary traffic management systems at roadworks.
About the Role
The Streetworks Team is responsible for the coordination, execution, and oversight of road works. The team manage works on our roads to keep disruption to a minimum and to ensure that anyone who digs up the street puts it back together correctly.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive Traffic Regulation Officer to play a vital role in keeping our local road network moving by coordinating and legally authorising Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs) for essential works and major public events.
In this dynamic regulatory role, you will collaborate closely with utility companies, emergency services and with internal and external teams to review and process road closure applications in order to minimise public disruption, and ensure the highest standards of safety.
