Role Overview
To carry out trailer fitting to ensure they meet company’s quality, safety, and legal standards, supporting customer requirements and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble trailers and related components according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Fit and install mechanical and structural parts, including axles, suspensions, panels, and flooring.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery to complete fitting tasks efficiently.
- Inspect and test completed trailers for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with welders and fabricators to ensure seamless assembly.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with workshop supervisors and colleagues to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in trailer manufacturing, mechanical fitting within an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to fitting.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations within a manufacturing setting.
- Relevant welding certifications (preferred but not essential)
