Train Presentation Operative
As a Train Presentation Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of Arriva plc's train fleet, contributing to a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform interior and exterior cleaning of train carriages, including floors, seating, windows, and restrooms, to high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels in onboard facilities.
- Remove litter, graffiti, and other debris from train interiors and exteriors.
- Conduct pre-departure checks to ensure the train is clean and ready for service.
- Report any damage, defects, or cleanliness issues to the relevant team.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain efficient and effective cleaning schedules.
- May be required to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as per operational needs.

- Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role is desirable, particularly within a transport or customer-facing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions effectively.
- Awareness of health and safety practices.
- Physical fitness to perform duties including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
