Trainee Account Executive – Greater Manchester

We’re looking for a Trainee Account Executive to join our client’s expanding team. If you’re motivated, proactive, and enjoy speaking to people, this is an opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast-paced, global industry.
No prior experience is needed. You’ll receive full training, ongoing coaching, and the support needed to develop into a confident, successful sales professional.

Your Responsibilities
Sales Development
- Reach out to SMEs via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Learn how to introduce services effectively and generate interest
- Research companies to understand their delivery needs and challenges
Client Engagement
- Arrange meetings with prospective clients
- Build confidence through real conversations and interactions
Understanding Customer Needs
- Gain insight into how businesses manage shipping and logistics
- Support in presenting clear, practical solutions that add value
Training and Progression
- Take part in structured onboarding, coaching sessions, and roleplays
- Begin building your own pipeline of opportunities
- Work towards closing your first deals with guidance from experienced team members
Account Development
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Support ongoing account growth and customer satisfaction

What You’ll Receive
- £30,000 base salary
- Realistic first-year OTE of £35,000–£45,000 + uncapped commission
