Description
Are you looking for your first step into telephone account management within the UK Financial Advice sector? Do you have some telephone-based customer service experience? Are you keen, eager to learn, and passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience? If so, our Trainee Account Manager opportunity might just be the career choice for you with a 2-year development programme.
Role Overview
As a Trainee Account Manager, you will begin developing the skills needed to build long-term relationships with clients and support them in achieving great outcomes. You will work closely with experienced Account Managers and internal teams to learn how to understand client needs, deliver excellent service, and contribute to ongoing improvements.
This is an ideal role for someone motivated, eager to learn, and looking to build a career in account management. You’ll gain hands-on experience through client interactions, internal collaboration, data analysis tasks, and exposure to key systems and processes.
We'll provide study support towards a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning so this might suit a recent graduate or college-leaver who is keen to combine work with study. Happy to consider applications from more experienced candidates if you meet the wider requirements and can work with the salary range noted.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
