About TC Croydon

At TC Croydon, our values are enthusiasm, integrity and teamwork. They shape how we work with clients, how we support each other and how we make decisions. We are building a positive, ambitious and values-led team that supports growing businesses across Croydon, South East London and the wider South East.

We are part of TC Group, a fast-growing top 20 accountancy firm, but our Croydon office has a strong local identity. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious person at the start of their accountancy career who wants to be invested in, gain real client experience and grow with a team that will support, challenge and develop them.

As a Trainee Accountant, you will learn how to prepare accounts and tax returns, support bookkeeping and communicate with clients and colleagues about information, deadlines and progress. You will receive training and supervision while building the confidence to take ownership of work within your role.

You will work towards a recognised accounting qualification while gaining practical experience with a varied client base and learning what good client service looks like in practice. This role will not currently sit within an audit team, but you will gain exposure to audit and other specialist service lines across TC Group as your experience develops.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
