Kick-start Your Professional Career

Join Ellacotts and build a rewarding career in accountancy while studying towards a professional qualification through our Employer funded or apprenticeship programmes. You'll gain hands-on experience, work directly with clients, and receive the support, training and opportunities needed to develop into a trusted adviser.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare accounts from client records and information.
  • Assist with VAT returns, tax returns and other financial reports.
  • Build strong client relationships and communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Support colleagues with client work and administrative tasks.
  • Attend training and work towards achieving your professional qualification.
  • Attend client sites where required.

Work with entities of all sizes, from large corporations to owner-managed businesses, alongside not-for-profits such as charities and academies. You'll gain exposure to audits, client-facing work and a broad range of industries, with opportunities to visit clients across the UK.

Entry Requirements

Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification).

Essential Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to travel to client sites when required.
  • Living within commuting distance of the office.
