The Opportunity
We're looking for an ambitious Trainee Accounts Associate to join our Accounts team across Worcester and Droitwich.
This opportunity is open to graduates, including those with no previous accountancy practice experience. Whether you're a recent graduate looking to begin your accountancy career or already have some relevant finance or practice experience, we'll support you in developing your technical knowledge while working towards the ACA qualification.

You'll work alongside experienced managers on real client assignments, gaining practical experience across accounts preparation, corporation tax, personal tax, bookkeeping, and VAT.
As your knowledge and confidence develop, you'll take on greater responsibility, build client relationships, and gain broader commercial experience.
Please note: this role is based across both our Worcester and Droitwich offices. You will be expected to work regularly from both locations, with the exact split determined by team, client, and training requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end accounts and supporting working papers for manager review
- Assist with corporation tax computations and returns
- Support personal tax work where required
- Assist with bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
- Support managers with the delivery of client compliance work
- Build effective relationships with colleagues and clients
- Work collaboratively across our Worcester and Droitwich teams
- Gain exposure to other areas of the firm where opportunities arise, including Audit and Private Client
- Study towards the ACA qualification and apply your learning to practical client work
About You
We're looking for potential, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to building a career in accountancy. You will ideally have:

- A degree or equivalent, ideally 2:1 or above
- A genuine interest in accounting, tax, and business
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail
- Good organisational and communication skills
- A collaborative and professional approach
- The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, and respond positively to feedback
- The ability to travel between and work from both Worcester and Droitwich
Previous accountancy practice experience is not required. Relevant placements, internships, or finance experience are welcome but not essential.
