Job Description
We are looking for a full time ACP (Band 8a) / a trainee ACP (Band 7). This is an exciting post to support the day to day Stroke/ TIA Acute Services. If you are a forward thinking ACP or would like to be a trainee ACP this role may well be for you.
Advanced Clinical Practitioner is required to support and manage the day to day management of Acute Stroke and TIA Patients. The ACP post holder should be qualified ACP at Masters level, the Trainee currently working towards there masters or willing to undertake it.
Please note that professional registration with a relevant professional body is required.

Assume responsibility for the daily management of Stroke/TIA SDEC and acute stroke management at the front door as well as in-patient strokes.
- Take responsibility for Stroke/TIA service advanced practice caseload with minimal supervision from stroke senior medical colleagues.
- Demonstrate ongoing evidence of achieving capabilities at Masters level across the 38 standards within the four pillars of Advanced Practice outlined in the Multi Professional Framework for Advanced Practice (Clinical practice, Leadership and Management, Education, Research.)
