Working across a number of high-quality residential developments throughout Cambridgeshire, you'll receive structured training, ongoing mentoring and hands-on experience, giving you everything you need to build a successful career in site management.

The Role

As a Trainee Assistant Site Manager, you'll work alongside experienced Site Managers, learning how to successfully manage busy residential construction sites.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of live housing developments.
  • Supporting the Site Manager to deliver homes safely, on programme and to a high standard.
  • Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress on site.
  • Carrying out quality inspections and snagging.
  • Promoting excellent health and safety practices.
  • Learning construction programmes, sequencing and site logistics.
  • Ensuring high standards of workmanship are maintained throughout the build.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a valid CSCS Card.
  • Has experience working in a construction trade or on residential building sites.
  • Is eager to move from a trade into site management.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn.
  • Takes pride in delivering quality work and maintaining high safety standards.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and is happy to travel between sites across Cambridgeshire.
