Trainee Bus Driver – Worcester

£14.00 per hour

Ready to build a career where you can make a difference every day? Join us as a Bus Driver in Worcester and become part of the team helping keep your local community moving. No previous bus driving experience is required. If you hold a full UK driving licence, enjoy meeting people and take pride in delivering great customer service, we’ll give you the training, support and skills you need to become a qualified Bus Driver.

What’s in it for you?

  • You’ll start on £14.00 per hour during training, increasing to £15.00 per hour once qualified after 12 months.
  • This is a full-time, permanent role with guaranteed contracted hours and rotas planned in advance, giving you greater stability and flexibility when planning your working week.
  • You’ll work a mixture of morning, evening and weekend shifts, with weekday time off built into your rota.
  • There are also opportunities to work overtime and increase your earnings where available.

The Role

You’ll operate local bus services across Worcester and the surrounding areas, helping people travel to work, education, appointments, shops and days out. As a customer-facing role, you’ll be an important part of the communities you serve, with safety, professionalism and reliability at the heart of everything you do. You’ll help keep people across the West of England connected, while providing a safe, comfortable and dependable journey for every passenger.

What We’re Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible approach to shift work
  • No PCV licence is required – full training is provided.
