Requirements:
2D CAD skills, gained through education or work experience, with an interest in developing 3D CAD. This role would suit a college leaver as well as someone with existing CAD experience – full training can be provided.

About the Role:
We are looking for a CAD technician to join our team, working alongside electrical and mechanical engineers to set up drawing layouts from mark-ups. From time to time you'll also assist with utility-related tasks, supporting other members of the team with statutory authority applications.

Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a design team to complete drawing layouts, generally from hand mark-ups. Setting up x-refs from Architects plans. Replicating designs across similar areas of a building e.g. hotel floors and previous similar schemes.
- Manage the flow of CAD work and distribute to external assistance as and when required by timescales.
- Assisting with utility-related tasks as needed, working alongside our others in the team.
Candidate Requirements:
- 2D CAD skills utilising AutoCAD (through education or work experience); an interest in developing 3D CAD skills.
- Someone who can work as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively.
- Good verbal and written skills, with an attention to detail.
- An interest in building services; experience of the sector is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience in website and social media updates would be useful.
