Stagecraft Display Ltd. is a leading name in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke retail display solutions and general retail across the UK. Operating from our 32,000 sq ft factory in Newtown, Powys, we also offer a wide range of manufacturing services, including CNC cut and finish contract manufacturing and Timber Frame Panel manufacturing for the construction industry.
About The Job
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee CAD Technician / Trainee Draughtsperson. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from our experienced in-house design team, developing your skills on real projects as you help create detailed and precise CAD drawings.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design and sales teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in creating detailed CAD drawings and technical specifications.
- Learn and apply industry-standard draughting techniques and software tools.
- Contribute to design discussions and provide input on optimising display solutions for both aesthetics and functionality.
- Support the design team in maintaining project documentation and records.
About You
- An ambition and interest in becoming a CAD designer/technician
- Basic understanding of CAD software (Solidworks is a plus)
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and commitment to the role
- Good I.T. skills
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision in draughting.
