The TIDES and EI service offers a broad range of specialist interventions, including psychological therapies, family interventions, vocational support, physical health monitoring, and medicines optimisation. Recent developments have focused on expanding digital innovation, strengthening partnership working across health and social care systems, and improving access to services for underserved communities.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will undertake postgraduate training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp), integrating academic learning with supervised clinical practice.
- Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments
- Provide formulation-driven CBTp interventions to service users within the local community
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with care coordinators, psychiatrists, family therapists, occupational therapists, and peer support workers to support holistic, recovery-focused care
- Receive regular clinical supervision from accredited CBT therapists and experienced psychological practitioners, alongside structured line management support
Upon successful completion of the training programme and accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), you will progress to a qualified CBT Therapist for Psychosis role within the TIDES Service. In this capacity, you will:
- Hold a specialist CBTp caseload
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to people experiencing psychosis
- Support service development initiatives
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, recovery-oriented care in line with national standards and service priorities

About the Team
Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is committed to delivering high-quality, recovery-focused Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) and At Risk Mental State (known as TIDES) services across Norfolk and Suffolk. We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate professionals to join our growing service and contribute to improving outcomes for people experiencing a first episode of psychosis. This post is located in the TIDES service.
