We have opened a new position for a Trainee Chef at Lamlash Bay Hotel, Isle of Arran

At Lamlash Bay Hotel, we’re looking for an enthusiastic person who is passionate about food and ready to begin a long-term career as a chef. This is much more than an entry-level kitchen role, it’s an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, develop exceptional culinary skills, and progress within an ambitious, award-winning business.

As a family-owned independent hotel, we pride ourselves on creating memorable dining experiences while championing the incredible produce that Arran and Scotland have to offer. With exciting plans to expand our food offering and continue raising the standard of island dining, there’s never been a better time to join our team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Learning every aspect of a professional kitchen.
  • Assisting with food preparation and service across our restaurant and events.
  • Working alongside experienced chefs who are committed to mentoring and developing new talent.
  • Developing strong cookery, hygiene and kitchen management skills.
  • Building knowledge of seasonal Scottish and local Arran produce.
  • Contributing to an ambitious kitchen focused on quality, creativity and continuous improvement.
