Job Description

AmTrust is a global insurance provider offering risk-management solutions and business underwriting. Today AmTrust International underwrites over $1.8 billion of gross written premiums and employs more than 1500 employees globally.

We are currently looking for a Trainee Claims Handler to join us, based within reach of our Nottingham office.

Duties

This customer facing role is to support our Property claims team managing a portfolio Insurance claims from initial notification to final resolution. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Investigate allocated claims, which includes gathering information and assessing the extent of the loss or damage
  • Make sound decisions based on the available information, own experience and consideration of all possible outcomes.
  • Keep accurate and complete records of communications and business transactions in accordance with company procedures.
  • Carry out all work in accordance with agreed service standards and FCA regulations.
