The Role
As a Trainee Claims Technician, you'll join a supportive team and learn the fundamentals of insurance claims handling. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, and develop the technical knowledge needed to build a successful career in insurance.

What you'll be doing
- Support the day-to-day administration of insurance claims.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining claim records on company systems.
- Acknowledge new claims and help communicate updates to clients and insurers.
- Prepare and manage documentation to support claims handling activities.
- Process payments, collections, and other claims-related information accurately.
- Respond to queries and escalate more complex issues when needed.
- Work with colleagues across the business to deliver excellent client service.
- Learn and follow company, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to team projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Who we're looking for
- Previous office, administration, customer service, or similar experience.
- An interest in starting a career within insurance claims.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- A-level standard education (or equivalent).
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Interest in pursuing insurance-related qualifications is desirable but not essential.
