About the Role
We are excited to announce that OTR are looking for new Trainee CYP Wellbeing Practitioner to expand our offer to children and young people across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset.
Trainee CYP Wellbeing Practitioner will provide high quality, evidence-based support for children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety, low mood, and some behavioural needs, by working in collaboration with community organisations as well as supporting OTR’s own internal therapies waitlist.
Trainee CYP Wellbeing Practitioner work flexibly and reflexively in order to support young people across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset through an offer of one-to-one Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as well as therapeutic groups.
Successful applicants will undertake a twelve-month Graduate or Postgraduate Diploma level training course delivered by the University of Exeter with an additional year employment within the organisation, providing the opportunity for the right candidate to embed their knowledge and gain experience delivering to young people, improving access rates for young people.
