About The Practice

Envisage Dental Basingstoke is a modern five-surgery private practice with a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional patient care and clinical excellence. We provide a broad range of treatments in a well-equipped practice, including hygiene services supported by EMS technology, giving you exposure to a variety of clinical procedures throughout your training.

The practice is conveniently located with on-site parking, as well as additional parking just a five-minute walk away, making your commute as easy as possible.

The Role

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you'll support our clinicians in delivering safe, high-quality patient care while developing the knowledge and practical skills required to achieve your qualification.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Chairside assistance across a wide range of dental procedures.
  • Supporting hygiene appointments, including working with EMS equipment.
  • Preparing and maintaining clinical environments.
  • Following infection prevention and control procedures.
  • Assisting with decontamination and instrument processing.
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
  • Helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 42.5 hours per week.

Monday to Friday: 7:45am - 5:15pm
1-hour unpaid lunch break each day

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Already enrolled on an accredited Dental Nursing course (essential).
  • Able to demonstrate previous experience working within a dental practice (essential).
  • Passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
  • Friendly, professional and eager to learn.
  • Organised with excellent communication skills.
  • A positive team player with a strong work ethic.
