Forestside Dental Practice | Dibden Purlieu, New Forest | Permanent | Part-Time (31.25 Hours per Week)

Looking for a role where you can learn, grow and build your career?

At Forestside Dental Practice, we understand that flexibility matters. We are looking for someone who can provide availability between 7:45am and 8:15pm, depending on the needs of the practice.

The full working day will not be required every day; however, availability to work until 8:15pm on at least one day per week is essential. Flexibility around other working days and hours would be welcomed.

We're looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly and experienced team in the beautiful New Forest. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in dental nursing, with full support and training provided as you work towards your qualification.

You'll learn to:

  • Provide chairside support across a range of treatments
  • Maintain high standards of infection prevention and decontamination
  • Assist patients throughout their treatment journey
  • Help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

About Us

Nestled on the edge of the beautiful New Forest, Forestside Dental Practice has proudly served the Dibden Purlieu community for over 26 years. We've built a strong reputation for providing high-quality dental care, supported by a team that genuinely enjoys working together.

The practice is conveniently located close to the town centre and directly opposite the train station, making it easily accessible by both public transport and car. While there is no on-site parking, there are a range of nearby parking options, making commuting straightforward for the team.

Our purpose-built, fully refurbished practice features:

  • Three fully equipped surgeries.
  • Dedicated CBCT suite and decontamination room.
  • Spacious reception, waiting area, and staff facilities.
  • Fully digital workflow including SOE Exact, Clinipads, digital radiography, intraoral scanners, CBCT, and a Zeiss microscope.
  • A wide range of treatments, including implant dentistry.

About The Team

You'll be joining a highly experienced, welcoming team where collaboration and mutual support are at the heart of everything we do. Many of our colleagues have been with the practice for years, creating a stable and positive working environment where everyone is encouraged to learn, develop, and succeed.

You'll receive support from experienced dental nurses and the wider practice team throughout your training, giving you the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards your dental nursing qualification.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, professional, and patient-focused.
  • Keen to learn and develop a career in dental nursing.
  • Organised with good communication skills.
  • A proactive team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to providing excellent patient care.
  • Able to work flexibly as part of the wider practice team.

Previous dental experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided.
