Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse
Location: Sevenoaks, Kent TN13 1XA
Salary: Starting at GBP14 per hour (Negotiable)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time and Part-Time
We are currently seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse to become part of a thriving dental practice that provides both NHS and private treatments. You will work closely with skilled professionals, gaining practical insight into contemporary dental procedures while developing the skills and confidence needed for long-term success.
Whether you have already begun a recognised Dental Nursing course or are intending to enrol, we encourage you.

The practice offers a wide range of treatments including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, routine dental examinations, emergency dental care, dental hygiene appointments, composite bonding, veneers, teeth whitening, Invisalign, fixed orthodontics, dental implants, implant restorations, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canal treatment, periodontal treatment, oral surgery, restorative dentistry, smile makeovers, preventative dentistry, facial aesthetics and children's dentistry.
Operating with modern digital dental technology, the practice provides an excellent environment for trainee dental nurses looking to gain practical experience across NHS and private dentistry, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, hygiene, restorative dentistry, patient care, infection control and the day-to-day running of a busy dental practice.
Opening Hours
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Tuesday: 9:00am - 7:00pm
- Saturday: By appointment only
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- Friendly, professional and reliable.
- Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn.
- Confident communicating with patients and colleagues.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems.
- Enrolled on, or planning to enrol on, the NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing (proof of enrolment required).
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- In possession of a National Insurance number.
- Vaccinated against Hepatitis B

The Role
We are currently seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse who is passionate about patient care and keen to develop a long-term career within dentistry. No previous dental experience is required and full training will be provided.
Working alongside experienced dentists, implant clinicians, hygienists, qualified dental nurses and the wider practice team, you'll gain valuable practical experience while developing your clinical knowledge and confidence.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Preparing treatment rooms before patient appointments.
- Providing chairside support during a wide range of dental procedures.
- Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment.
- Following cross-infection control and health and safety procedures.
- Supporting patients throughout their appointments.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with general administrative duties.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
- Developing your knowledge through practical experience and ongoing training.
