Trainee Dental Nurse - Come and Join Our Friendly Team
St Anne’s Dental Practice
We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our established private practice and continue developing their skills in dental nursing.
Ideally, you will have around 3-6 months of dental nursing experience and be looking to build on the skills and experience you have already gained. You will need to be self-funding your Dental Nurse training.

We’re looking for someone who is caring, approachable and enjoys working with people. You’ll be working alongside an experienced dental team, gaining valuable hands on experience and developing your confidence across all aspects of dental nursing.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has already started their dental nursing journey and is keen to continue learning and developing within a private practice.
Working Hours
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 8:15am-5:15pm
- Friday: 8:15am-4:15pm
About The Role
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you’ll support our clinicians and wider dental team while continuing to develop your practical skills and knowledge.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing chairside support to clinicians
- Preparing surgeries and ensuring they are clean, stocked and ready for patients
- Supporting clinicians during a range of dental treatments
- Welcoming and reassuring patients throughout their visit
- Learning and maintaining high standards of infection prevention and cross-contamination control
- Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Supporting with patient records and practice administration
- Helping with the smooth running of the practice
- Working closely with the wider dental team
- Developing your knowledge and confidence across different areas of dental nursing
- Helping to provide a friendly and positive experience for every patient

You’ll receive support from the team as you continue to develop your skills and work towards becoming a fully qualified Dental Nurse.

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Ideally has around 3-6 months of dental nursing experience
- Self-funding their Dental Nurse training
- Friendly, caring and approachable
- Confident and comfortable communicating with patients
- A real people person who enjoys helping others
- Organised, reliable and keen to learn
- Positive and happy to get involved
- Comfortable working as part of a busy clinical team
- A good team player who enjoys working collaboratively
- Keen to develop their dental nursing knowledge and skills
- Passionate about providing excellent patient care
Location & Travel
St Anne’s Dental Practice is conveniently located with free on-street parking available nearby.
The practice also has excellent public transport links, with bus stops and the train station both within approximately 10 minutes of the practice, making it easily accessible for those travelling by public transport.
