Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse/Dental Nurse Assistant
Location: Willesden Green, London NW10 1JY
Salary: Starting From GBP24,420 per year (Discussed at interview)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, including one late evening session per week
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse to join a busy, well-established mixed dental practice based in Willesden Green, London NW10, conveniently located close to Willesden Green Underground Station on the Jubilee line.
The practice is looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and willing to work as part of a supportive dental team.
Previous dental nursing experience is preferred but is not essential, and applications are welcomed from individuals looking to begin their career as a Trainee Dental Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing chairside assistance to dentists during dental procedures
- Preparing and maintaining the dental surgery
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Cleaning, sterilising, and preparing dental instruments
- Supporting patients and helping to provide a positive patient experience
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Working closely with dentists and the wider dental team
- Supporting with reception and general administrative duties where required

Candidate Requirements
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, professional, and approachable
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- A good communicator with a good standard of spoken and written English
- Comfortable using computers and has basic keyboard/IT skills
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Able to manage their time effectively and use their own initiative
- Committed to providing a high standard of patient care
- Willing to learn and develop within the role
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Able to provide or obtain an Enhanced DBS where required
- Willing to meet the relevant Hepatitis B vaccination requirements for clinical dental work
Trainee applicants must be enrolled or prepared to enrol onto a recognised Dental Nursing qualification and be able to provide evidence of enrolment before commencing employment as a Trainee Dental Nurse.
Previous dental nursing experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Working Hours
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, with one late evening session per week.
