Responsibilities
Kick-start your career in international finance
Are you curious about global trade, infrastructure and sustainable development? Join Société Générale's Development & Structured Export Finance team and gain hands-on experience supporting complex financing transactions that help businesses, governments and institutions deliver projects around the world.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in banking, finance or international trade. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, develop technical and commercial skills, and gain exposure to clients, export credit agencies, development finance institutions and project finance transactions.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll support the team across a range of activities, including:
- Assisting with export finance and project finance transactions
- Conducting company, sector and market research
- Preparing client presentations, reports and transaction materials
- Supporting business development initiatives and client engagement
- Monitoring market developments and financing opportunities
- Contributing to internal reporting and portfolio administration
You'll receive training and guidance from experienced team members while developing a strong understanding of international finance and structured lending.

What we're looking for
We're interested in candidates who are:
- Curious about finance, international trade, infrastructure or sustainable development
- Analytical, numerate and comfortable working with data
- Strong communicators with excellent written and verbal skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative and keen to work in an international environment
- Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn
A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous, although we welcome applicants from a wide range of academic backgrounds who can demonstrate strong analytical capability and a genuine interest in the sector.
