About the Company

St. James’s Place is the UK’s leading advice-led wealth management organisation. We are recruiting for Trainee Financial Advisers to join our flagship development pathway for individuals who want to retrain into a professional career in financial advice. This opportunity is specifically designed for people who are ambitious, motivated, and looking for a long-term career with genuine progression and earning potential.

About the Role

As a Trainee Financial Adviser you'll join our Flagship Academy programme designed to help you transition into a successful career in Financial Advice. Whether you're already working in the Financial Service Industry or looking for a career change, we'll provide the training, support and development to help you succeed.

What we're looking for

  • A background in Financial Services, or a Client facing profession.
  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience.
  • Excellent Communication and relationship building skills.
  • Level 4 qualified DipFA, CISI, CII or equivalent or currently working towards your Level 4 diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Ambitious, motivated individuals who are passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Training and Development

Successful applicants will be assessed for entry into St James's Place adviser development pathway;

  • Fully Funded Professional Development Programme.
  • Support to achieve your level 4 diploma in Financial Planning. (if required)
  • Once you hold your Level 4 Diploma, support towards Competent Adviser Status.
  • Hands on client experience with ongoing mentoring.
  • Clear career progression with the UK's leading Financial Advice Businesses.
  • Employed and Self Employed opportunities available

Responsibilities

  • Build Trusted, Long Term relationships with clients.
  • Deliver Holistic Financial Planning tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide advice with integrity, professionalism and care.
  • Excel in strategic planning and regulatory compliance providing true financial advice to clients.
