Trainee Financial Adviser
Carmarthen, West Wales | £25,000–£30,000 | Full-Time | Office-Based
Are you looking to build a long-term career in financial services and want the opportunity to gain genuine exposure across mortgages, protection and wealth management?
We’re working with a growing financial services business that is looking to appoint a Trainee Financial Adviser to join their team in Carmarthen.
This is not a typical IFA trainee role. You’ll gain broad exposure across the business, working alongside experienced advisers and supporting real clients from the outset.
What You’ll Be Doing
Over your first 12 months, you’ll receive structured training and exposure across:
- Mortgage advice and administration
- Protection and life insurance
- Wealth management and financial planning
- Paraplanning and client administration
- Specialist and second-charge mortgages
- Client reviews and relationship management
- Business development and introducer relationships
- Research, quotations and preparation of client documentation

Financial services experience isn’t essential. We’re open to graduates and candidates from sales, banking, insurance, professional services or other client-facing backgrounds who have the right attitude and ambition.
Any progress towards CeMAP, Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or another relevant qualification would be advantageous.
