This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who has a genuine interest in financial services and is looking to develop a career in financial advice.

This role would particularly suit an existing, financial services administrator, paraplanner, employee benefits consultant, or someone with experience in pensions administration who is looking to make a difference in the community and eventually take the next step towards becoming a regulated financial adviser.

As well as a keen interest in financial planning, we'd like you to be:

  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Positive, professional and approachable.
  • Curious and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable presenting information to groups and individuals.

  • Motivated to work towards professional qualifications.
  • Actively working towards the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (not essential).

What the role involves:

You will work closely with our Workplace Pensions and Employee Benefits team, supporting advisers in delivering advice and services to employers and employees.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the implementation and ongoing management of workplace pension schemes.
  • Supporting advisers with pension governance meetings and client reviews.
  • Helping to deliver employee pension workshops and financial wellbeing presentations.
  • Assisting with the setup and administration of employee benefits arrangements.
  • Supporting the management of Group Life Assurance, Group Income Protection and Private Medical Insurance schemes.
  • Preparing meeting packs, reports and client communications.
  • Liaising with pension providers, insurers, payroll teams and HR departments.
  • Attending client meetings alongside advisers and developing trusted relationships with clients.
  • Observing meetings to assist with personal development and progression.

Your work will be primarily office-based, with opportunities to attend client meetings, workshops and events across the North West, alongside flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
