Trainee Financial Adviser Pathway

Leeds | Up to £45,000 + Benefits | Route into Financial Advice

Ready to Make the Move from Paraplanning to Advice?

Are you a Level 4 Diploma qualified Paraplanner who has gained solid technical experience and is now looking for the opportunity to become a Financial Adviser?

This is not just another Paraplanning role.

We're partnering with a highly respected and growing financial planning firm that has a proven track record of developing talent from within. They are looking for an ambitious Paraplanner who wants to take the next step towards a client facing advisory career through a structured and supported development pathway.

If you've been waiting for the right opportunity to transition into advice without sacrificing support, training, or earning potential, this could be exactly what you've been looking for.

The Opportunity

Joining an established and successful advice team, you'll initially work as a Paraplanner, building an in depth understanding of the firm's clients, processes, and advice philosophy.

From day one, you'll be working towards a clearly defined progression plan, with ongoing mentoring from experienced Advisers and directors. As your confidence and capability develop, you'll gradually transition into client meetings and advisory responsibilities before ultimately moving into a full Financial Adviser role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
