About the Company
GSL Education Wakefield is in an exciting growth phase and is seeking a driven, ambitious Trainee/Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our top-performing team.
About the Role
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual looking to kick-start their career in a fast-paced, highly rewarding environment. No prior recruitment experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training and ongoing development to give you the tools to succeed and progress quickly.
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Actively develop new business opportunities through outbound and cold calling to schools and educational institutions.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both client schools and education professionals.
- Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source high-quality candidates utilizing job boards, networking events, social media, and our internal database.
- Interviewing & Screening: Conduct thorough candidate interviews, assess suitability for various educational roles, and ensure strict compliance with safeguarding standards.
- Full 360° Cycle Management: Manage vacancies from the initial client brief through candidate placement and post-placement support.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed KPIs and revenue targets to grow your own successful desk.

Qualifications
Background: A recent graduate or an individual with a competitive background (such as sports, sales, or similar target-driven environments).
Required Skills

- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; absolute confidence when making outbound phone calls.
- Work Ethic: A strong work ethic with a proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
