Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Trainee Internal Salesperson to join our team in Yate, Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has gained experience in a customer-facing, administration, retail, trade, sales or similar environment and is looking to develop a career within internal sales. While previous internal sales experience is not essential, you will need strong communication skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Working as part of our Internal Sales Team, you will receive training and support to build your product knowledge, sales skills, customer service experience and understanding of our industry. You will play an important role in supporting customers, processing enquiries and orders, preparing quotations and contributing to the overall success of the regional sales office.
Whilst full training will be provided, we are seeking someone who can bring strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer telephone and email enquiries.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with preparing quotations and pricing.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Build product knowledge through training and practical experience.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
- Support sales campaigns and business development activities.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Support the Internal Sales Team with day-to-day activities.

Qualifications
Job Requirements
Essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, administration, retail, trade, sales or similar working environment.
- Experience handling customer enquiries, orders or administrative tasks.
- An interest in developing a long-term career within sales.
