LGT Wealth Management UK LLP is a UK-based partnership, wholly owned by the private banking group LGT, which is in turn owned by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. Job Description
Business Unit:
The team’s primary goal is to help UHNW clients enhance their wealth. We are involved in a broad range of activities including Investments, Strategy, Planning/Structuring, and Lending. The foundations of the team are built on technical excellence and integrity to ensure that the client receives a holistic wealth management service. The team pools its wealth of knowledge from the individuals within it who are experts in their field to ensure that the client receives a first class service in terms of investment advice.
Brief Role Objective:
To provide high-quality investment, administrative, organisational, client-service and workflow support primarily to two Investment Managers, while also contributing to the wider team’s responsibilities and objectives. The role is responsible for helping ensure that client-related tasks, follow-ups, reporting, CRM records and the calendar of client commitments are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner. The individual will build up to have regular contact with the UHNW client base, dealing with enquiries and providing support at client meetings where appropriate. The successful candidate will bring ownership, structure, strong follow-through and a proactive approach to turning open matters into completed work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support primarily to two Investment Managers, while remaining flexible and available to assist the wider team and the Firm with shared responsibilities as required.
- Assist with all aspects of client contact, including ongoing and regular reporting requirements and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
- Help manage workflow, follow-ups, CRM updates and the calendar of client commitments, ensuring actions are tracked accurately, progressed proactively and seen through to completion.
- Act as the liaison with the Dealers and Back Office on the settlement of deals and keep the Investment Managers and wider team abreast of any irregularities.
- Maintain client lists and information, including spreadsheets/databases as required, including Bloomberg sheets.
- Review and coordinate corporate actions, including open offers and rights issues, and instruct the Corporate Actions team accordingly.
- Provide analytics for the Investment Managers and the team, including performance, asset allocation reports and capital gains analysis.
- Ensure that all current/new client account data is complete, up-to-date and accurate at all times.
- Be responsible for the production of high-quality reports and presentations for existing and prospective clients, including the collation and distribution of valuations and end-of-year packs.
- Deal with client correspondence and queries in a clear, professional and timely manner.
- Monitor portfolio content and performance for Investment Partners/Investment Managers.
- Place and process trades in line with client instructions for advisory and execution-only portfolios, liaising with Dealers and ensuring adherence to internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all prospects are stored on the relevant database and all client correspondence is filed appropriately.
- Prepare and collate research and investment recommendations for the Investment Partners/Investment Managers.
- Attend client meetings with Investment Partners/Investment Managers where appropriate, ensuring review meetings and reports are scheduled, produced to a high standard and delivered on time.
- Support business development activity, including prospect tracking, preparation of materials, follow-up actions and the effective completion of routine or administrative tasks required to progress opportunities.
- Attend seminars and functions as required.
- Monitor external custodians for accuracy and timeliness of processing.

Requirements
Key Skills and Technical Requirements:
- Demonstrates strong ownership, high standards and pride in the quality of their work, with excellent attention to detail across all aspects of work.
- Is structured, organised and calm under pressure, with the ability to create and maintain practical systems that improve day-to-day workflow.
- Acts as a proactive self-starter who applies sound judgement and deals with matters promptly, professionally and effectively, demonstrating ownership and reliable follow-through.
- Is confident using Excel and PowerPoint to a high standard, including the preparation of polished client materials, clear presentations and accurate analysis.
- Comfortable utilising AI, digital and productivity tools to support efficiency and quality of output.
- Has, or is willing to develop, a sound understanding of markets, investments and financial planning concepts; prior exposure to financial planning would be advantageous.
- Generates practical ideas/initiatives to help promote the firm to potential clients and improve the client experience.
- Is resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, balancing varied responsibilities with care, consistency and professionalism while readily assisting the team and the Firm in achieving their objectives.
