Trainee Lock Assembler

This role will be based at our Willenhall manufacturing facility.

What will you be doing?
- Assembling lock cylinders and components to meet precise quality and production standards
- Following work instructions, drawings, and technical guidelines with accuracy
- Inspecting finished products, identifying and reporting any defects
- Using and maintaining hand tools and assembly equipment safely
- Keying and pinning cylinders to specific customer requirements
- Keeping your workstation clean, organised, and safe
- Tracking output and highlight any issues to the team leader
- Working collaboratively to meet team production targets
- Taking part in training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Always following all health & safety procedures

What can you bring to the role?
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- A reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
- Ability to work at a consistent pace in a production environment
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
It would be beneficial (but not essential) if you have the following:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment
- Familiarity with quality control processes
- Experience working with small components or precision parts
Please Note:
- Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 08:00 –16:45 / Friday 08:00 – 12:30
