Trainee Logistics Coordinator

Location: Glasgow [PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT BASED IN GLASGOW]
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Build Your Career in Logistics from the Ground Up

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to join our growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver, college leaver or someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop into a skilled logistics professional.

You don’t need previous logistics experience—we’ll teach you everything you need to know. What we’re looking for is someone with a great attitude, a willingness to learn and the motivation to build a long-term career.

As a Trainee Logistics Coordinator, you’ll work alongside our experienced Logistics Manager and wider operations team, learning every aspect of warehouse operations, stock management, shipping and logistics.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn the business from the ground up. During your first couple of years, you’ll be expected to become involved in the day-to-day operation of our warehouse as well as learning the systems and processes that sit behind it.

No two days are the same. One morning you could be unloading a shipping container, checking and counting incoming stock or labelling products. In the afternoon you may be preparing customer orders, carrying out quality checks, learning our Warehouse Management System (WMS) or assisting with shipping documentation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
