Trainee Manager - Internal Applications

Application Deadline: 11 September 2026

Department: Retail

Employment Type: Temporary

Location: Milton Keynes

Reporting To: Victoria Parry

Compensation: £32,350 / year

Description

Diversity matters
We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. It’s what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.

We see you, we celebrate you, we want you!

Who we are

You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but there’s more to this great-smelling, partly employee-owned, family-run company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good. We put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it is what’s inside that counts - whether that’s an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.

The role

Please note: This is a temporary role, ending at the end of April 2027

Being a Trainee Manager in Milton Keynes:

Lush Milton Keynes has a dynamic team who love to be busy. We are extremely passionate about the local community and doing outside events, so it is key that any applicant is someone who can easily make connections and is always looking for business opportunities.

We intend to really focus on growing our business this year by growing our in-store parties, Spa Treatment sales and with corporate gifting!

Over the last year we have had an influx of lovely new staff, who are keen to learn, therefore it is vital that our new Trainee Manager is passionate about training and development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
