Trainee Maintenance Engineer - Days
📍 Carmarthen
💰 £27,000 - £30,000 + Training & Development
What You'll Do:
- Join a growing materials processing business and begin your engineering career within a busy, hands-on environment.
- Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll receive full training while developing the skills needed to become a fully qualified Maintenance Engineer.
- Assist with routine inspections across plant and workshop areas.
- Support planned preventative maintenance activities on a range of processing equipment.
- Learn how to diagnose faults and assist with breakdown repairs.
- Gain hands-on experience working on conveyors, screening equipment, and other plant machinery.
- Help maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards across site.
- Work from maintenance schedules and engineering job sheets.
- Learn and follow permit systems, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
- Develop your understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Work closely with experienced engineers who will mentor and support your development.
