Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Trainee Mortgage Advisor role based in Bridgend. The Trainee Mortgage Advisor will support clients by gathering financial information, explaining mortgage options, and assisting in selecting suitable products in line with regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include:

The role also involves learning and applying current mortgage market knowledge, participating in training and mentoring, and delivering clear, professional communication to ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge or strong interest in Finance and Financial Planning, with the ability to understand income, expenditure, and affordability.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in Mortgages and Mortgage Marketing, including an understanding of different mortgage products and how they are promoted.
- Willingness to become CeMAP qualified (or already CeMAP qualified), and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Strong numeracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial documents accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Ability to work effectively in a branch environment, collaborate with colleagues, and manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
- Basic IT proficiency (e.g., using CRM systems and standard office software) and strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a financial services environment is beneficial but not essential.
