Role Description
This full-time Trainee Mortgage Broker role is an on-site position based in Gateshead. The successful candidate will assist licensed advisors in researching and preparing mortgage options, analysing client financial data, and supporting clients in their house purchase.
Responsibilities
- Assisting licensed advisors in researching and preparing mortgage options
- Analyzing client financial data
- Supporting clients in their house purchase
- Liaising with clients
- Developing financial knowledge
- Ensuring sites are kept updated
- Ensuring high-quality customer service
Candidates will receive comprehensive training to advance their understanding of mortgage products and the financial services industry.

Qualifications
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and strong numerical aptitude
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Effective organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Previous experience in finance, sales, or customer-facing roles is advantageous
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and digital tools
- A desire to learn, grow, and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Financial knowledge is desirable but not essential
