About the Role
Countrywide Mortgage Services is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join my team as Trainee Mortgage Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in financial services with industry-leading training, ongoing support, and a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser.
No previous mortgage advising experience is required. If you’re passionate about helping people, enjoy building relationships, and are driven to succeed, I’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Meeting with clients to understand their mortgage and protection needs.
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing outstanding service.
- Working towards achieving your CeMAP qualification (if not already qualified).
- Learning how to provide tailored mortgage and protection recommendations in line with regulatory requirements.
- Managing customer enquiries and maintaining accurate records.
- Working closely with estate agency colleagues to generate leads and support customers throughout their home-buying journey.
- Meeting individual performance and development targets.

What I’m Looking For
- A positive, enthusiastic, and customer-first attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong desire to learn and develop a career in financial services.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work towards targets.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential (depending on location).
