About ROS Mortgages
ROS Mortgages Limited is a Preston-based mortgage and protection business focused on responsible client outcomes and the structured development of future Mortgage & Protection Advisers.
ROS Mortgages is an Appointed Representative of ARKKE Capital Limited. Mortgage and protection advice is delivered within ARKKE Capital’s regulatory, compliance and supervisory framework.
The opportunity
We are recruiting aspiring and newly qualified individuals who want to build a professional career in mortgage and protection advice.
This is a self-employed opportunity with access to our Preston office and an agreed hybrid working arrangement. It is particularly suitable for:
- CeMAP students and newly qualified candidates
- Banking and financial-services professionals considering a career change
- Customer-facing professionals with transferable skills
- Early-career advisers seeking structured development
- Motivated individuals who want to serve clients from varied communities and backgrounds
Previous mortgage-advice experience is not essential. We are more interested in integrity, communication, discipline, willingness to learn and commitment to responsible client outcomes.

Candidates who progress successfully will receive structured onboarding, practical learning and ongoing development covering:
- The complete mortgage and protection advice journey
- Client discovery and needs analysis

- Compliance-led case preparation and record-keeping

- Lender, provider, CRM and advice-system processes
- Practical case development under the applicable supervision arrangements

What we are looking for
- CeMAP-qualified, currently studying towards CeMAP, or committed to obtaining the qualification
- A genuine interest in mortgage and protection advice
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Integrity and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and follow structured processes
- Commitment to regulatory compliance and responsible client outcomes
- Confidence engaging with clients from different communities

Previous banking, financial-services, sales, customer-service or relationship-management experience is beneficial but not essential.
The right to work in the United Kingdom.
Additional language capability may be valuable when supporting diverse client communities, but it is not a requirement.
Working arrangement
- Engagement: Self-employed
- Location: Preston, Lancashire
- Working arrangement: Office-based or hybrid, subject to agreement
- Experience: Previous mortgage-advice experience is not essential
- Qualification: CeMAP completed, in progress, or a clear commitment to undertake it
