I’m working with an established financial planning business in Solihull that is looking for a Trainee Paraplanner to join the team.
This is a great opportunity for someone currently working in IFA administration, financial planning administration, wealth management or adviser support who is ready to take the next step into paraplanning.
You don’t need previous paraplanning experience. What’s important is that you have a good understanding of financial services and are keen to develop your technical knowledge and build a long-term career in paraplanning.
The role will include:
- Supporting Financial Advisers with client cases
- Assisting with client reviews and ongoing servicing
- Financial research across pensions, investments and wider financial planning
- Supporting suitability reports and recommendations
- Provider and product research
- Supporting new business and transfer cases
- Liaising with providers, platforms and clients
- Preparing valuations and client information
- Developing your technical knowledge alongside experienced Paraplanners

The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment
- Experience in an administration or adviser support role
- An understanding of pensions and investments
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- A genuine interest in developing into a Paraplanner
- A willingness to work towards relevant CII qualifications
